The College Drop Off Got Me Thinking

written by Nada Jones

I’ve been thinking a lot about this after dropping off my gal for her first year of college…

If we push through our limiting beliefs around age, our daughters will not see their best years coming to an end at 40.

Let’s show her women who finally came into their own at 45, women who found their purpose at 55, women who pursued their dreams at 65. Let’s give her the gift of wonder and opportunity that accompanies each new decade. Let’s stretch her horizon by brining our own into focus. Let’s show her what’s possible by leaning into our possibilities.

We owe it to those who came before us, to her and ourselves.
