What’s Stopping You?

written by Nada Jones

So many of us don’t consider ourselves to be creative. We were taught that painting, drawing, molding clay, singing, acting and dancing were creative pursuits best left for creative people.

Imagine if you were told that you were creative by nature—you were born that way. What if you were taught that you had to create out of necessity because it freed the mind and healed the soul. What if you were taught that you were responsible for putting that creation out in the world to serve others and yourself? What if you were told that you couldn’t make a mistake or better yet, the goal was to make as many mistakes as possible to learn more about yourself and life?

What would you create? What would you do with your hands, your voice, your mind?

What if you were told it’s not too late, or your journey has led you to this very place to create that very thing?

Now, ask yourself what’s stopping you?
